We’ve heard of plenty of great programs to get our veterans outdoors to help them cope with trauma (such as Project Healing Waters and Hunters Helping Soldiers). We came across an article in the San Francisco Gate a while back about an event  specifically for female veterans.

The Veterans First Fly Fishing Federation isn’t only for women, but it comes as no surprise that we love anything that encourages women to try a new outdoor hobby – and find the calming force of the outdoors.
